Big Fish

Big Fish Small Ocean

In the great Waterways of Life it’s a tragic Cycle, Big Fish gobbling up small Fish. Nowhere more prevalent than the Corporate Jungle. I haven’t posted anything in a while, being too busy with Life. Whenever I take a Vacation from writing doesn’t mean that I have developed a case of writer’s block. Most of the time I am just preoccupied with other things. Most of my Blogs are usually about Roads that I have traveled. This One is about One of them. Three years ago I worked for a Resort Giant, It was something quite different. While there I got to meet a lot of people, some nice, some were absolutely Atrocious. That goes for some of the Guests as well as Coworkers and Management.

I couldn’t go on without mentioning a couple of Individual standout occurrences. My absolute favorite was a little Girl who I wrote a Blog about, with her Parents approval. Jasoul was Nine years old, her Mannerisms were of a matured Adult with style and Grace. The Blog gave credit to her Parents, working class People who had their own Business. Jasoul was an absolute Gem, when her Parents and I communicated, she sat erect and listened adeptly. Even though she was included in the Conversation, she never spoke until it was her turn. The mark of a great Conversationalist and very mature for a nine years old. Most Nine years old fidgets and ask dumb questions when involved in deep Conversations. In the Blog I said that Josoul was destined for great things and her Parents had done a great job in her upbringing. After posting the Blog Siouxi her mother, sent me an Email Lauding me with compliments on the Blog. She said that the Blog made her and her Husband Cried for Joy.

Then I remembered that before I wrote my first Blog, I read a Book on Blogging and what makes a Great Blog. The Author stated that if when you write and what you write don’t stir Emotions, what you write is not worth the Paper it’s written on. The Resort gave me plenty of Subjects to write about. Talking about Big Fish eating small Fish. These Piranhas gave Capitalism and Labor Relations a bad name. They Indoctrinated us to make the Guests feel special so they would return again and again. We sold the Resort with our every interaction with the Guests. Our Day to Day functions weren’t the only things that made the Company lots of Money.

When it comes to Money big Fish have an Insatiable Appetite. One year the Company made over One Hundred Million Dollars. Christmas came and went without the yearly Bonus that we looked forward to. The reason, Operation cost were too high. Yet the C.E.O. and his Flunkies got Three Figure Bonuses. Did I mention Big Fish. Just Rewards had the last laugh. One year after my forced departure a Whale of an Investment Group bought the Resort. When I got fired for refusing my Boss, I had already given them Two weeks notice and had One week to go. Wrongfully terminated I knew that I had a case, Nonetheless I decided not to Sue. Within a short while later the Buffoon was promoted to C.E.O. months before the Company was sold. It didn’t take the new Owners long to see what I had known all along, he was Inept and a Buffoon. He was promptly fired, the same way he disposed of me. The best part of this Story, the new Owners came with a big Broom. All the Slackers and Freeloaders, either quit or was fired. Keeping it short and sweet, if you enjoy swallowing Guppies, one Day your turn will come to be swallowed.
